On Family Literacy Day, RPL celebrates one of our favourite activities, reading as a family, and we are pulling all the stops.
Get ready for exciting storytimes with special guests from Regina Police Service, the Regina Pats, Regina Fire and Protective Services and the Regina Humane Society – and that is to name only a few. Let’s make this clear for the little ones: we are talking real policemen, real hockey players, real firefighters and real cats (firefighters and cats are such a classic combo after all).
Each library branch will have activities, story times, special guests and cake. The activities will focus on sharing tools for family literacy that you can try at home.
