Thank you for thinking of our animals!  We cannot thank our community enough for your generosity. If purchasing items, please consider supporting our local shops and our Satellite Adoption Partner retailers when you do so. To ensure the best use of donations, please see below for usable items:

At this time, we can accept only the following items:

• Canned cat and dog food
• Un-opened pet food
• 6-foot leashes (non-retractable)
• Dog and cat crates/kennels
• Cat litter
• New Kongs – especially large ones
• New Plastic squeak toys
• New Plastic cat toys
• Dentasticks
• Towels and non-stuffed blankets
• Cat or small dog beds
• Gift cards – particularly food stores, Dollar Stores, pet stores
• Liquid Laundry Detergent
• Bleach

We thank you, however, we are not able to make use of:

• Opened pet food
• Bedsheets
• Pillows of any kind
• Large dog beds
• Cat trees and scratch poles
• Litter boxes
• Food and water bowls
• Medications or medical supplies

Items can be dropped off at the Donation Room at the Animal Community Centre, 4900 Parliament Avenue, daily, 10 am – 6 pm.  The Donation Room is to the left of our main doors.

Oversupply of donated items will be shared with other rescue organizations or used to support RHS outreach programming.
