Periodically, the shelter may have animals that are available to be adopted while in foster care. These animals are available for adoption, but are not at the shelter for viewing. Typically, these animals are expected back within one week. If you would like to adopt one of these animals, you must come to the shelter and complete an adoption application (all adoption policies and procedures still apply). Once the animal is returned to the shelter, you will be contacted to pick up your new pet.

With thousands of homeless pets in our community, the Regina Humane Society is grateful to Petland, PetSmart, Pat’s Pets, Pet Valu and Pet Depot for providing adoption opportunities for homeless pets by dedicating space to facilitate the adoption of homeless animals from the Regina Humane Society.
The following pets are available for adoption off site at these locations. The Satellite Adoption Centre where they reside can be viewed in the full adoption profile accessed by clicking the pet’s photo.
