Hi I'm Kanga, I'm a gentle soul with a big heart - it just takes me a little while to show it. I'm a sweet, quiet girl who's still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. New people and places make me nervous, so I may hang back at first... but if you're patient and kind, you'll see my tail start to wag and my eyes light up just for you.Once I trust you, I'll stick close - a soft shadow by your side. I don't need much: a calm home, someone who understands shy dogs, and the space to come out of my shell at my own pace. I promise, the love I have to give is worth the wait.

I haven't had much experience with children and I'm picky about my playmates. I need to meet any potential child roommates so I can make sure everyone's boundaries can be respected.I require a veterinary consult because I have/had a health issue that may/may not require special care or attention in the future. I am still highly adoptable; however, RHS provides this information, and in some instances, requests you speak with an in-house veterinarian about the health issue so that you can make an informed choice about adopting me.
