Adoption Counselor

Full-time, Temporary (Summer)

Are you ready to turn heartwarming stories into everyday reality? We’re searching for a compassionate and creative Adoption Counselor to help connect homeless animals with their forever families.

Every day in this role, you’ll be a matchmaker, storyteller, and lifesaver – all rolled into one. You’ll work directly with adorable dogs, cats, and small companion animals, capturing their unique personalities through stunning photos and writing irresistible adoption bios that catch the eyes (and hearts) of potential adopters.

Veterinarian

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to join our team and provide exceptional care to animals in need in our new, fully equipped clinic at the Regina Humane Society Animal Community Centre.

About Us
Our highly experienced team consists of two clinical veterinarians, two RVTs, and support staff working together in a state-of-the-art facility. Our caseload is primarily cats and dogs, with a limited number of exotics. We focus on:

  • High-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services
  • Comprehensive veterinary care for shelter animals
  • Population health management
  • Support for investigations under the Animal Protection Act
  • Community outreach programs to promote animal welfare

What We’re Looking For
A veterinarian with SVMA licensure (or eligibility) with a passion for animal welfare and population health management

  • Strong surgical skills, particularly in spay/neuter procedures.
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with a dedicated team.
  • Effective problem-solving within available resources.
