Tifa was a gentle and beloved black domestic shorthair who brought 22 years of joy, comfort, and companionship to his family. He came into our lives in 2007 after being surrendered by his previous family, who had to move away. From the moment we met him, we knew he was special.

Tifa quickly became an irreplaceable part of our lives. He was known for his soft nightly “hellos” after proudly hunting down his toy prey, his fondness for cuddling on the couch, and his calm, observant presence during board game nights. He had a quirky love for chewing on plastic and sneaking the occasional bite of bread, and his favorite spot was wherever the sun touched the floor. In every moment, Tifa offered love, warmth, and the kind of peace that only a cat can bring.

Though we sadly had to say goodbye to him on May 30, 2025, Tifa’s presence will never be forgotten. He was truly my best friend, and the bond we shared was unbreakable. We are so grateful for the many years we had with him.

Thank you, Tifa, for choosing us. You will always be with us, curled up in a sunbeam in our hearts.
