Chippy, our beloved Norwich Terrier, passed away on December 30, 2025, at 13 years old. He was the sweetest soul—deeply a people dog through and through. While he was famously antisocial with other dogs, he adored humans with his whole heart and ran to the door every single time it opened, as if joy itself had just arrived. He greeted us every day like it was the very first day we brought him home. Fluffy, gentle, and fiercely loyal, Chippy spent his life protecting my baby brother and watching over our family. He loved food, loved walks, and loved being wherever we were—traveling everywhere with us, always part of the adventure. Even through health challenges, his tail never stopped wagging; he chose joy over discomfort every time. Chippy was the best dog I have ever known, and I am endlessly grateful to have been loved by such a gentle, hairy little guardian. He will always be family.
