Below is a list of six activity options for you to choose from to make your party un-fur-getable! Each activity is designed to be 30 minutes in length to give adequate time for food, cake, and gifts afterward.

Finding a Fur-ever Home

• The birthday child and their guests will create their own pet using air clay or pipe cleaners, guided by our team.They will create a story as to how their amazing pets made their way to them and the personality details that make their animal special. The group will then create adorable collars and supplies for their fur family member, complete the adoption process, and be presented with a certificate of adoption!

Society Safari Scavenger Hunt

• If you’re on the hunt for animals and interesting facts, we have the purr-fect activity for you! In this activity, you will get an option of either a digital or paper scavenger hunt and break up into teams. Your group will make its way through the Regina Humane Society to answer questions, solve riddles, and complete activities for the chance to win a prize!

Animal Origami and Yoga

• Did you know that Ancient yogis studied animals to learn from them, and many yoga poses are named after animals? In this activity, the celebrating group will be led by their facilitator in creating adorable, age-appropriate animal creations using paper. Afterward, they will have a calming yoga break where animal poses will be used to help exercise bodies and minds.

Animal Care Relay Races

• Who in the group knows the most about what is needed to take care of a pet? Who can clean up after their pet the fastest? Who is the speediest group member? These questions will be answered after participating in our animal care relay races! This fast-paced party activity combines knowledge of animals with speed in a race against time. Competing party members will also have a chance to win prizes!

Animal Trivia

• Think you know the most about animal trivia? Put that to the test in this party activity! Guests will have the option to be broken up into teams or compete individually for the chance to be crowned the winner. Questions will be age-appropriate, and categories can vary from animal facts to celebrity animal questions.

Enrichment Toy & Activity Making

• During this activity, your group will create engaging enrichment toys and activities for the animals at the RHS. These items help Shelter pets channel energy, prevent boredom, enjoy mental stimulation and have fun! Best of all, you’ll experience the joy of giving them directly to our grateful furry friends!

Want to send your guests home with a little extra tail-waggin fun?

For just $10 per child, you can add a special birthday bundle that includes:

• A themed RHS loot bag filled with fun surprises
• A delicious RHS sugar cookie made locally by Asha-Rose Bakery

It’s the sweetest wat to say “Thanks for coming to my paw-ty” while supporting local and helping animals in our care.

Party Packages are $250.00 per party and include:

• Two-hour party in a private party space for the birthday child and up to nine guests
• Use of Catering Kitchen
• Full programming provided by RHS facilitator
• A tour of the Adoptions Areas
• A choice of one of our six activities
• Age-appropriate decorations
• All plates, cutlery, and napkins
• Set up/take down of the party space
• Editable invitation to send to guests
• Note: $10 extra per guest up to 20 children

Parents/Guardians Are Welcome To Bring:

• Extra decorations (no piñatas, confetti, or glitter please)
• Personal loot bags
• Food, drinks, and cake

Birthday Party Requirements

• A signed Birthday Party Waiver and Release form
• A signed contract for the birthday party rental
• A minimum of 1 adult per 10 children
• Adults are expected to be with the party at all times
• Cupcakes and cake to be served by the adult present
