About

Sonata is still figuring out the world around her. She's a sweet girl with a bit of a goofy side, and she'd love a home that appreciates her for who she is while giving her the time and space to grow into her own.Sonata can be a little reserved when meeting new people and dogs, but that doesn't mean she can't make friends! She may initially be a little unsure when meeting a new canine companion, particularly if they are overly enthusiastic or in her space. She seems to do best with calmer dogs who are happy to do their own thing and give her a little room. When given the opportunity to approach at her own pace, she'll gradually warm up and let them into her circle. She has the potential to enjoy the company of other dogs, but a meet with any dogs she may be living with will be required. The key to winning Sonata over is to let her take the lead. She'll do best with people who don't rush introductions or expect her to interact with everyone she meets. Sonata has lived with children and could do well in a home with kids who understand and respect her boundaries, giving her the choice to interact when she's ready rather than overwhelming her with attention.Giving her space to observe, settle in, and approach when she's ready will help her build confidence and develop positive relationships. If you're looking for a sweet, slightly goofy puppy who just needs a little patience and understanding to shine, Sonata might just be your girl!!I require a veterinary consult because I have/had a health issue that may/may not require special care or attention in the future. I am still highly adoptable; however, RHS provides this information, and in some instances, requests you speak with an in-house veterinarian about the health issue so that you can make an informed choice about adopting me.
