I'm a relaxed, smart, sometimes perky, dignified, and well-behaved senior lady. My foster mom says I have good "house manners." My dream is to become a "Lady of Leisure."

Children are lovely for a short while, but I'd do best in a quieter, adult-only home. Lying on a lap and being petted would be a dream come true! I love to shadow my special humans as they go about their day, with nap breaks in one of my beds.

When I came to the RHS, I was a total mess! I needed emergency grooming! Now, my lovely white coat is growing back, and my overgrown nails have been trimmed so I can walk well. (Stairs are a bit of a challenge, though.) My foster mom calls my unique feet "pieces of art." The vets have also taken care of my teeth and my mouth sure feels better!

This "Golden Girl" hopes to find a forever home where I'll be groomed regularly, have soft beds (yes, beds!), regular meals, wander my yard, go for short walks, and maybe even have some dog friends visit. Most importantly, I want plenty of cuddles and love.

Would you consider letting "Golden Girl" dance into your life? Yes, I do dance! I require a veterinary consult because I have/had a health issue that may/may not require special care or attention in the future. I am still highly adoptable; however, RHS provides this information, and in some instances, requests you speak with an in-house veterinarian about the health issue so that you can make an informed choice about adopting me.
