Nova

Nova

Nova was born on a farm near Elrose on May 6, 2006. His proud momma Kylie had 5 babies that day. Nova went to his forever home with his human mom Cindy in July 2006. Nova was a curious little boy. He was intrigued by everything that his new family did and he loved to be a helper. Nova was a skilled gardener – he knew about nipping all the flowers off plants; thinning out the cauliflower plants; picking the berries off the Saskatoon bush and the strawberry plants; and checking the water temperature in the hose. He loved sports : camping; a round on the humping ball; playing milk carton chase across the snow; fetch the bunny; and ‘chase cars’ inside the fence. He loved all seasons, but winter was one of his favorites. There is nothing better than the taste of new snow he thought….unless it is rain water on the deck chairs. He had a taste for the finer things in life: Expensive flip flops and gourmet dog treats. Nova attended puppy obedience and passed with flying colors. His attendance at agility school was cut short when he had a bladder incident in the tunnel. Nova passed away at 9 pm on Thurs June 21, 2018 in his mommy’s arms – the first day of summer. He was diagnosed with Kidney and liver issues several months earlier. He leaves behind his birth mom Kylie, his human mom Cindy and his dad Eldon, his doggie partner Halley, his other good dog buddies Arlo and Tim and his extended human family:Robbie, Kayla, Paisley, Courtney and Daniel
