Kids Who Care

Lots of kids who care visit the Regina Humane Society every day. These generous children have held birthday parties and asked for gifts for the animals at the Shelter instead of themselves, organized lemonade stands, donated allowances or have held other special fundraisers for the animals at the Regina Humane Society.

The Regina Humane Society wants to give a big “paws up” and say thank you to each of these special kids!

When parents and children drop off their very thoughtful donation at the Regina Humane Society:

  • Parents will be asked to complete a Special Donation Form outlining the activity or fundraiser. Download the form here.
  • Parents may be eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt. Please email for more information.
  • Children can pick an adoptable animal and have their photograph taken with.
  • Children will receive a thank you card, Certificate of Appreciation and 4 X 6″ photo in the mail.

Don’t forget there are other ways you can help! Does your child love crafts? Consider encouraging them to collect enrichment items and make special handmade toys for shelter pets! This special project will help keep the pets happy and healthy while they wait for permanent homes. You can learn more about our enrichment program and view toy making instructions here.

And the best part of all? It’s so easy – and fun – to help animals in need!
