Animal Protection Officer

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Animal Protection, Animal Protection Officers function as the field enforcement arm of the Regina Humane Society.  The successful candidate, having met the prescribed criteria and demonstrating that he or she is suitable as outlined in the Saskatchewan Animal Protection Act, will become a badged Animal Protection Officer. They will also serve as emissaries to further the goals and philosophies of the Regina Humane Society in the community

Kennel Technician

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Animal Care, the Kennel Technician is responsible for aspects of shelter animal health, cleaning as well as assisting with all kennel operations such as Receiving, and Cremations.

Veterinary Technician Practice Lead – Veterinary Department

The Veterinary Technician Practice Lead is responsible for oversight of Vet Tech operations at the RHS including supervision of clinic staff, assisting with surgeries, routine examinations, and treatments of in-house animals. The Vet Technician Practice Lead will also be responsible for ordering, patient record keeping, control drug record keeping, and, with veterinary assistance, shelter disease protocols.
